Elegantly aging “modern” decor hotel. Large comfortable rooms, and a cool rooftop with stellar views of Empire State Building. Breakfast is served in a historic 1900 era mansion next to the hotel proper. Good value hotel.

Comfortable and clean rooms, had a nice view of the Empire State building from our room. Complimentary in room coffee, wifi and 2 bottled waters daily was a nice touch. They offer nice quality linens, robes and slippers and we loved the bidet. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was good as well, close to Grand Central Station and in a quieter side of town. Would definitely stay again. The on site breakfast was good and the rooftop bar is a must do for spectacular cocktails that are matched by the views. Thank you Prince Kitano team for a wonderful visit to NYC!

This beautiful gem on Park Ave is a touch of class!!!! From the beginning, the check in was flawless! The attention to detail with the room facing park ave and the chocolates on the desk was a nice touch. The bathroom with the all in one built bidet was class across all the way. The rooftop bar ( although a gloomy night ) was brightened up immeasurably by the bartender from Austria. His mixology skills were top tiered!!!! The drinks and the food were a tad pricey however its understood by the QUALITY of the hotel itself. Lastly I will say as one of the ONLY JAPENESE inspired hotels in the area I appreciate the LEVEL of commitment to the staff and support staff that made my stay memorable!!!!

Really enjoyed our stay. Hotel staff are extremely friendly and polite. The room was a good size and the TVs allow for HDMI use. Comfortable lobby and dining area. Heated washroom seat and bidet was a plus - even had a great view of the Empire State Building. We stayed here after a few days at the Knickerbocker and this hotel was a much better experience than there.

I needed a hotel for a last minute business trip to mid-town, and I found The Prince Kitano by happenstance. I would definitely stay here again! Spacious rooms, elegant lobby, and free breakfast (at least there was for me, I'm not sure if that is true for all rates). Recommend!

This hotel is beautifully designed. It is updated while still honoring the building's history, using substantial, quality finishes. Service was attentive and the hotel staff was incredibly accommodating and kind. Our room was large, very clean, quiet, and had a nice view. And the restaurant downstairs was lovely- beautiful design, service and dishes. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Recommend!

This is a lovely boutique hotel. Great bars and restaurants, with excellent, high touch service. Valet parking, bellhop, quick and easy check in. The bartenders in the lower level restaurant and the rooftop, were all so warm and kind. They also had excellent rates, and the hotel is very clean. The rooms are smaller than what I’m accustomed to, but it’s not way too small, it was fine for myself alone. Bathrooms have heated towel racks (that kind of didn’t really do much in my opinion) and the toilets have bidet’s — which was actually pretty cool. Oh, and I had a great view of the Empire State Building from my room. All in all, I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

We stayed at this hotel with a group and what a lovely time we’ve had from the moment we walked through the door! Such hands on staff and with a manager like Zach, how can things not run smoothly?! His motto is: I work for you and so he did. Being with the staff and exceeding all out expectations from special requests to just providing the service you expect and more. Everything was perfect. The rooms were great and the breakfast: Delicious! I would really recommend staying here. Something to mention too, is that the hotel is perfectly situated too! Will definitely be coming back at the next first opportunity. Thank you Zach and the staff.
